“Methuen Jazz” is a district-wide ensemble open to students in grades 6-8.
Students must audition and be selected in order to participate.
What instruments can try out?
All Saxophones, Trumpet, Trombone, Piano, Guitar, Bass and Drum set
What grades are eligible?
6th, 7th and 8th graders from all the Grammar Schools.
What do I have to play for the audition?
The audition consists of a selected solo piece along with memorized scales.
When are auditions?
Auditions will take place after school in the Marsh Band Room between January 19th-21st
The Tenney date will be decided before vacation.
If I am accepted, when are the rehearsals?
Wednesdays – 2:45-4:00 PM
