Online Music Resources
Essential Elements Interactive (EEi) is cloud based software that enhances each band students experience while learning a musical instrument. Students are able to play along with an accompaniment, record themselves and also submit recordings for assessment. This is free for each child who has a lesson book.
Noteflight is a web based music notation tool for creating, editing, listening and sharing musical compositions. All compositions are stored online and can be accessed and printed from any computer with an internet connection.

David Coleman is the ninth president of the College Board. The College Board designs the SAT Reasoning Test (SAT) and the Advanced Placement (AP) tests. The press has described him as "the architect" of the Common Core State Standards Initiative. Coleman was named to the 2013 Time 100, the magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. He has been recognized as one of Time magazine’s “11 Education Activists for 2011” and was one of the NewSchools Venture Fund Change Agents of the Year for 2012. |
